The Safe Church Program of the National Council of Churches held its biennial conference in Melbourne last week. A number of Churches of Christ representatives attended this, along with representatives from many other churches.
Presentations were made on family violence prevention from the Government-sponsored organisation Our Watch. This website has many videos and other educational resources available.
Gerard Mansour the Commissioner for Senior Victorians gave a presentation focusing on preventing elder abuse.
Greg Gebhart gave a presentation on eSafety, and showed a number of videos and resources for parents, educators, and victims that are available on the eSafety website.
